It was not, and except for Tuesday, where I showed up to a meeting and talked in a non-existent voice (it was kinda funny, actually), I've been slightly miserable. They love to do nice things for others. they look for opportunites to give up something in order to bring another person happiness. selflessness rather than selfishness is their guiding philosophy. Blues seek intimacy. They want to be loved and to love. A true blue will sacrifice a successful career to improve an important relationship. Blues crave being understood. They are gratified when they are listened to, when they feel understood and appreciated. Blues may have thier hearts broken more than most people, but they also spend much more time in love. Blues are directed by a strong moral conscience. They have a moral code that guides them in their decision making, their value judgements, and their leisure time. A blue would rather lose than cheat. Ethically, blues are people who should be in positions of power, but seldom are.

Take The Color Code Test at HelloQuizzy

<lj:music>Some Naruto Theme Song... Doesn't matter which one...</lj:music>

It's official.

I'm obsessed with Naruto.

Yes, you all know I'm a fan, but really... I've heard more Japanese spoken today than English. Thanks to the show I now know the Japanese words for "Important", "Limit", "Blood", and so on.
(I'm also learning Japanese on the side-- sometimes I can even pick out words... not many though ;) Japanese is unlike French, though. With French, I can kind of get the gist of something because a lot of French is like English. In Japanese, if I don't know the word, I'm stuck going What??

But I'm really gone. WHY does this show grab me so much? Maybe because it's long? Unlike Utena, Hellsing, and Eva, this show just... keeps... going... with all those horrible/ wonderful cliff hangers-- "he died! No, it was replacement technique! No, he really died!"

... it's never going to end.... I'll be stuck in shinobi-land forever...

Miss you all, Happy New Year!

I got it out on Wednesday, and so the bandages are still on and I am still a little sore.

But whoo hoo! It's been a crazy year, but I think that I have grown from it a lot...

Do you guys ever look back on your life and go: "How could I have acted like that?" Not anything outrageous, like "I'll never jump over the fence in my underwear again," but just looking back at your own immaturity? I've always considered myself a 'mature' person, but I don't know. I could be really socially awkward in college--

Does anyone else feel this way?

Ugh. Just saw "The Fountain."

Worst movie I've seen this year. Kept expecting a coherent plot. Was vastly dissapointed.

Yeah. Too much Zen. One of those movies that needed footnotes at the bottom of the screen explaining the "Huh?" points, of which there were Too many. (And it's not like I'm artistically dense, I was a Drama Minor... OY... Hedwig and the Angry Inch was normal and coherent compared to this thing...)

So, my advice: Ditch it and see The Prestige twice.
